DOORS

Most of the doors in the house are unpainted and have the original finish. The most impressive doors in the house are probably the entry and foyer doors, which may be seen in the foyer section. There are 4, possibly 5 matching Butternut doors with the original glass transoms in the second story. There are three sets of double pocket doors and one single pocket door. Two matching pocket doors are cherry on one side and a hardwood on the other, with door jambs to match. There are two sets of French doors that provide access to the Gazebo porch. The back room door is etched and has chicken wire in the glass. The laundry room door has etched glass which may be original.
